Each year Toys R Us prints a "Toy Guide for Differently Abled Kids". Go to www.toysrus.com/DifferentlyAbled to receive the Fall 2008 issue of this catalog. The toys in the catalog are selected and evaluated by the National Lekotek Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to making play accessible for children with disabilities.
The 'Easy-to-Use Toy Selection Guide' uses symbols to help guide your selections: auditory, language, visual, tactile, gross motor, fine motor, social skills, self-esteem, creativity, & thinking. Descriptions are provided for every toy in the catalog.
A copy of this catalog can be viewed in the Special Services Department at the District Office.
