Biography

I entered the Abbeville County School District as a student in third grade. I graduated from Abbeville High School. I continued my education at Lander University with a degree in Elementary Education. I began my teaching career in Anderson School District 3 as a first grade teacher and I then became a second grade teacher. I completed the Master's Program of Library Science at the University of South Carolina. My first position as Media Specialist was in Greenwood District 50 with Ware Shoals Primary School. I have been the Media Specialist at Cherokee Trail Elementary School for 6 years.

Family
My husband is Barry Ferguson. He is employed with West Carolina Rural Telephone. He graduated from Dixie High School.
We have three children, Anne Marie (14), Samantha (12), and Thomas (4).

Hobbies
I enjoy reading to my children, watching movies, and swimming.
